That's right, we've seen witches, we've seen hidden faerie dimensions, but throw in some government-like action and us viewers don't know what the hell is going on! Now, I am being a little over-dramatic here, other stories that were also floating about in series 5 were Russell Edgington was once again on the loose and hellbent on creating havoc and stopping mainstreaming, Tara got turned into a vamp and Hoyt makes Jessica glamour him to forget her and Jason ever existed (boo!).

| The team on their rescue mission at The Authority HQ |
[Be warned: the following synopsis is very basic, there was so much, I couldn't put it all in!] We're not here to dwell too much on the past however, and what we could grasp was that in the final episode, the main storyline was to rescue Bill and Eric, while elsewhere, Sookie joined forces with fellow faeries to keep them from being drained by Russell Edgington. (Just a few things to follow).
Just as the team got together with Eric, we see Bill self-induce the "true death" by drinking all of Lilith's blood, despite a plea from Sookie to save himself and return to being the noble, honest vampire that she once loved. But all is not ended for Mr. Compton as he rises out of his blood puddle a more powerful, seemingly more vengeful vampire than before. Eric demands Sookie to run and in true True Blood style, queue end credits.
Now months of agony of wondering what happened next will soon be over as Season 6 starts in just 4 days (the 16th of June) and it cannot come sooner. With a multitude of promotional posters hinting that there is going to be some vampire death, us fangbangers are getting worried! With some talk that this may be Alexander Skarsgard's last season, the fear that Eric Northman may finally see his end is rife.
Either way, it is safe to say that come June the 16th, millions will be tuning in to HBO to watch the season premiere. If we know anything about True Blood by now, we all know it is bound to leave us thirsty for more.
