Woman Crush Wednesday: 5 celeb women us ladies crush on

I was inspired by the Woman Crush Wednesday hashtag this week and it got me thinking about how certain woman capture us ladies' eyes, as well as mens! We live in a society now where it's almost the norm to have a couple of "straight-girl" crushes if you're a woman and it's totally acceptable.

Females you idolise, you want to look like or just outright fancy a little and we're no longer afraid to admit it to our friends. We all have one but there are a few that I've noticed that are almost general across the board. Here, I count down the most popular girl crushes I've heard that people have!

5. Jennifer Aniston

She might be a little bit older than the rest of the women listed here, but Jen has definitely still got it! Way back in 1994, she captured many women's attention with her then incredibly fashion-forward hairstyles as Rachel from Friends and now she's still making us laugh in nearly every romantic comedy that's ever released.

4. Laura Prepon

As 'Orange Is The New Black' nears the Netflix premiere of it's second season, I've become increasingly aware of just how many of us have a crush on Alex, played by 'That 70's Show' alumni, Laura Prepon. I can't really pinpoint what it is to be honest other than looks-wise with Laura but she's certainly bless in that department and a lot of us ladies can appreciate it.

3. Emma Stone

If there's something I've realised is most men who say they like "funny girls" over hot girls are more often than not, fibbing. But us girls, we truly do love the funny ones. Not that Emma Stone doesn't have the looks as well as the laughs but it's her humour that has won over our hearts.

2. Beyoncé

The ultimate diva, Beyoncé makes women everywhere feel like a goddess when boogying to her songs and for that, we idolise her. The singer symbolises women power and sex appeal and we can't help but admire her and be inspired to be just as sassy!

1. Jennifer Lawrence

It HAD to be J-Lawr at the top of this list, right? Everyone loves her, men and women alike! She's funny, beautiful, good at what she does and she's one of us! Every time Jennifer talks about watching 'The Only Way Is Essex' or gushes about just how much she loves pizza, we fall a little harder each time. We can't wait to see her return as super-slinky Mystique in X-Men: Days Of Future Past tomorrow.
